Supported Service for small TNs
We’re pleased to announce that Sight for Wight is generously providing support for smaller talking newspapers on our award winning “My Talking Newspaper” service on Alexa and the telephone.
“Having lived with 88% sight loss since birth, to me using your voice to hear what others can see is such a simple but empowering technology, we should all have access to it.”
Both Sight for Wight and ourselves are working to keep this support in place for up to five years, securing the future of your service.
What the offer gives you
We can offer a subsidised service for charities with an average cashflow between £1,000 and £3000. This is an annual payment of £100+10% of the last 5 years rolling average cashflow. eg, minimum £200, maximum £400.
If your talking newspaper falls into the financial or listener bracket above but you do not wish to accept the sponsorship, then the basic service can be provided for an annual payment of £295.
Steps to take up this amazing offer
Enter your England or Wales charity number in the box further down, and we’ll do the calculations from Charity Commission data. Leave blank if not a registered charity, or in Scotland or Northern Ireland, and just enter your email address instead.
The Small Print
Listeners will receive a short introduction of around 10 seconds before the start of each new edition.
It will be similar to the current introduction: “The following content is provided by an independent organisation, but is made available on this device with the kind support of Sight for Wight”.
There will be no other interruption to your listener’s content after that point, but listeners will have the option to hear about Sight for Wight.
You may withdraw from the supported offer at any time and either cease the service entirely or switch to one of the low cost options below.
